Fight Director, Teacher, Performer
I am a Fight & Intimacy Director for stage and screen. My role is to design action that serves the needs of the story, creates the desired impact on the audience and keeps performers safe in the material they are delivering. I work collaboratively within a production team to create content that is confident, consistent and convincing.
As a certified Teacher with the British Academy of Dramatic Combat I work at several drama schools in London, run training courses and provide made-to-measure masterclasses across the UK. My practise includes working with youth groups, drama students, performers encountering these skills for the first time and action specialists.
My method is built on my background as an actor. I trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (MA Acting, Classical and Contemporary Text), then my interests in physical storytelling, embodied theatre and audience immersion quickly led me into working as a Fight / Special Action Performer.
